Information for exercising the statutory consumer cancellation right for a distance contract.
Cancellation right
If Finnish consumer law gives you a cancellation right for a distance service contract, you generally have 14 days from the date the contract is made to cancel it without giving a reason.
To exercise the right, you must communicate your decision unequivocally before the period expires. You may email magdalena@unelma.eu or send a letter to Magdalena Hosko / Unelma, Lammaslammentie 10 A 1, 01710 Vantaa, Finland. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to use it.
If you ask us to start immediately
If you expressly ask Unelma to begin the paid service before the 14-day period ends and later cancel before the service is complete, you may, within the limits permitted by law, be required to pay a proportionate and reasonable amount for the service already performed. If the service is fully performed at your request during the cancellation period and you have acknowledged in advance that the cancellation right ends once the service has been fully performed, the cancellation right ends at that point.
