Terms of Service
Last updated: 17.08.2026
These terms apply to Unelma's non-medical practical coordination service.
1. About Unelma
Unelma is a pilot service operated by Magdalena Hosko. It offers non-medical practical coordination and trip-planning support to people living in Finland who are considering private appointments in Poland. Unelma is not a clinic, healthcare provider, travel agency or emergency service.
The website contact form is only an initial enquiry. Sending an enquiry is free, is not an order, and does not create a payment obligation or service agreement.
2. What Unelma does
Unelma provides practical and organisational support. Depending on the package and the agreed scope, this may include:
- helping the client contact a clinic or another provider connected with the planned visit and prepare practical questions;
- coordinating appointment-related communication and summarising replies clearly;
- language support in Polish or English;
- planning the practical side of the stay, such as schedule, sights, restaurants and restaurant reservations;
- helping the client compare accommodation and transport options, which the client chooses, books and pays for directly;
- practical follow-up before or after the visit;
- in the premium option, practical and language support by message or phone during agreed hours.
3. What Unelma does not do
To keep the role clear, Unelma does not:
- provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medical suitability assessments, second opinions or guarantees of results;
- choose treatment or make medical decisions for the client;
- provide dental or medical treatment, patient care, personal supervision or emergency assistance;
- sell, resell, book on its own account, or take payment for accommodation, transport or flights;
- combine accommodation or transport into a travel package or linked travel arrangement, or act as a travel organiser;
- collect treatment payments on behalf of a clinic;
- provide legal, financial, insurance or tax advice.
4. How a paid service is agreed
The website form is a free initial enquiry only. No paid service agreement is concluded through the website form, and the website does not contain a checkout or order button for a paid Unelma service.
If the client wishes to continue, Unelma sends a written offer or service summary in individual email correspondence. Before the contract is made, it states at least the agreed scope, the total price including applicable taxes or, where necessary, how the price is calculated, the expected timing or duration, the payment method and term, the service provider contact details, these Terms, and the statutory cancellation instructions and model cancellation form. Where relevant, it also discloses any referral or cooperation fee connected with a recommendation made to the client.
A paid service agreement is formed only in individual email correspondence when the client accepts Unelma’s written offer or service summary. Unelma provides the key contract information and agreed terms by email or attachment in a form the client can retain. An initial enquiry, discussion or request for information does not create a paid contract.
5. Price, invoicing and payment
The website states the content and total prices, including VAT, of the standard packages. If an assignment differs from a standard package, for example in scope or in the support period during the trip, the price is agreed separately. Before the contract is made, the client receives in writing the total price for the agreed service, including applicable taxes, or, if an exact price cannot yet reasonably be confirmed, sufficiently clear pricing criteria and a price estimate. No additional work or extra coordination charge is incurred without the client’s prior approval.
Payment is normally made by invoice. Unless a longer period is agreed, the payment term for a consumer invoice is 14 days from the invoice date. Unelma may use an external invoicing provider; the invoice will identify the payee and payment details.
Unelma's fee covers only Unelma's own coordination work. Treatment, accommodation, travel, transport, restaurants and other third-party services are separate. The client contracts with and pays those providers directly.
6. Consumer cancellation right for distance contracts
Where Finnish consumer law gives the client a statutory cancellation right for a distance service contract, the cancellation period is generally 14 days from the date the service agreement is concluded. Before the contract is made, Unelma provides the statutory cancellation instructions and model cancellation form and provides them again in a form the client can retain together with the contract confirmation.
The client may exercise the cancellation right by sending an unequivocal statement before the deadline. Use of the model form is optional. The instructions and model form are also available at Cancellation right and model form.
If the client wants Unelma to start the paid service before the 14-day cancellation period has ended, Unelma separately asks for the client’s express request to start the service and the client’s acknowledgement that the cancellation right ends once the service has been fully performed at the client’s request. If the client exercises the cancellation right after performance has begun at their express request but before the service is fully performed, the client may, within the limits permitted by law, be required to pay a proportionate and reasonable amount for the service already performed.
After the statutory cancellation period, the client’s rights are determined by the agreed service, these Terms and mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits a statutory cancellation right.
7. Client responsibility
The client makes their own decisions regarding providers, appointments, treatment, travel, accommodation and payments. The client is responsible for checking medical, booking, travel and payment details directly with the relevant provider before making a decision or booking.
8. Clinics, accommodation and other third parties
Unelma may help with communication or recommend practical options, but third parties provide their own services independently. Unelma does not control and does not guarantee their availability, prices, decisions, quality, medical services or performance. A recommendation does not make the third party part of Unelma's service and does not remove the client's freedom to choose another provider.
9. Travel, accommodation and transport
Unelma does not sell travel packages, accommodation packages or combined travel services. Trip-planning help is limited to information, suggestions and practical assistance. Accommodation, transport and flights are chosen, booked and paid for directly by the client with the relevant provider. Unelma does not receive or hold the client's payment for those services and does not offer them for one inclusive price.
10. Message and phone support
Some packages may include practical and language support by message or phone around the time of the visit. The available dates, hours and time zone are agreed in writing. Support may include practical help with directions, schedule changes or understanding non-medical messages.
This support is not medical advice, patient care, a 24/7 helpline or an emergency service. For a medical concern, the client must contact the clinic or an appropriate healthcare professional. In an emergency, the client must contact local emergency services.
11. Referral or cooperation fees
A clinic or another provider may in some cases pay Unelma a referral or cooperation fee. If an arrangement is relevant to a recommendation made to the client, it is disclosed openly. The client remains free to choose another provider, and all medical decisions remain between the client and the healthcare professional or clinic.
12. Sensitive health information
Do not send medical records, X-rays, diagnosis details or other sensitive health information through the website contact form. If a clinic needs medical information, the client should send it directly to the clinic through the clinic's own secure process. If sensitive health information is sent to Unelma by mistake, Unelma will avoid using it and will delete it where reasonably possible.
13. Changes, rescheduling and additional work
Appointments, travel plans and third-party availability can change. If a change materially increases the coordination work, Unelma will explain the additional work and any additional fee before doing it. No additional fee is charged without the client's agreement.
Unelma may pause or stop accepting new clients. An existing paid agreement will not be materially changed without the client's agreement, except where a change is required by law.
14. Problems and complaints
If the client believes the agreed coordination service has not been provided as agreed, they should contact magdalena@unelma.eu as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
15. Responsibility and limits
Unelma is responsible for providing its own agreed coordination service with reasonable care and in accordance with mandatory law. Unelma is not responsible for medical outcomes or for the independent acts, omissions or services of clinics, accommodation providers, transport providers, restaurants or other third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are intended for consumer services offered in Finland and are governed by applicable Finnish law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with Unelma, a consumer may contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Service (Kuluttajaneuvonta). The consumer may also bring the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta): www.kuluttajariita.fi.
